Our Story

Hey! I’m Aimee. I live in Port Townsend with my wife, our two kids and our beloved poodle. The Olympic Peninsula is a special place and I feel immense gratitude for the privilege of being a part of this extraordinary community.

I’ve worked in the food industry for over 28 years. I started out as a teenager washing dishes in my hometown back in Pennsylvania. Since then I’ve moved through positions in the front of house, back of house and layers of management. I love the connection with guests that serving and bartending have to offer but my heart has always been in the kitchen.

I’m happiest while at home preparing meals for my family, cooking with my kids and teaching them how to nourish their bodies with food. Time also spent in the kitchen cooking for families suffering through illness or injury, the birth of a new baby, a period of grief, or just to help out a friend in need are the times that my heart is full. Food has always been and always will be the channel to deep connections for me.

I’m thrilled about introducing my plant-based meals to this community with food solely sourced from the Olympic Peninsula or from The Food Co-op. Fruits and vegetables begin to lose their nutrients within 24 hours of being harvested, therefore local produce is where it’s at. I’m excited about building and strengthening relationships with our local farms. Buying local also supports the local economy and helps to reduce the environmental impact.

Please send me a note and introduce yourself. I’m very much looking forward to getting to know you and sharing my food with this wonderful community.
